In addition to all the yummy veggies (kale, beets, potatoes, garlic, and lettuce) I am bringing to this week’s Rye Farmer’s Market I will also be bringing a friend. Her name is Daisy. She is a hen from my flock of chickens. She will be at our stand to greet people and show off her eggs (which I will also have for sale). I will be bringing a “friend” from our farm to each market for the rest of the summer. Sometimes it will be a bunny, sometimes a hen. Stop by and say hello. And pick up some veggies for dinner. Daisy may even let you pet her.
