Happy spring!!! Even though the ground is still covered by many inches of snow, the days are longer and the sun is stronger and things are melting. And I saw snow drops today while out walking. There is hope. Spring is coming and our basement greenhouse is already full of lettuce, onions, leeks, celery, herbs, Swiss chard, kale and early tomatoes. And we are planting more every day.
Attached below is the 2017 seedling order form. As with last year, you can send it to me by email, by regular mail or just bring it by when you come to shop. I will have plenty of everything on the list. The form will add everything up for you automatically (David helped me with that aspect) when you fill it out online so it makes the math easy. Our seedling greenhouse will be open beginning the weekend of May 12th so let me know when you want to come by and pick up your seedlings. I will have them all ready for you.
We will also have the “serve yourself” aspect of the greenhouse open beginning on May 12th so if you just want to come shop on your own, feel free. The list will tell you what we will have available so you can plan ahead and know what seedlings you want to get.
One quick note: there will be no Rye Farmer’s Market this year so I will be selling produce from Sidewalk Farms. More about that later but just wanted people to know that produce will still be available but it will be here in Portsmouth.
As always, let me know if you have any questions. My email is leslie@sidewalkfarms.com
We look forward to seeing you this spring.
Leslie and Carly
