Now that lambing season is over we are focusing on our next big event, our annual chick sale. We are partnering again with Eliot Agway to bring you this awesome sale. Checkout the poster to see the list of breeds we will have available. We will have over 1000 chicks in the barn. We will also have some older (2 months) chicks available that we have hatched here on the farm including brahmas, salmon faverolles, marans, blue and green layers, and some silkies. Something for everyone. We accept cash, check, Venmo and credit cards. The farm store will also be open during the chick sale.
Details of the day: Doors open at 9:00 but people do start lining up at 8:30 ish. The line moves pretty quickly and we are usually through the biggest crowds by 10:30. Do expect to wait for a little bit though as we like to give everyone the attention they need. We have lights, feed, waterers and feeders, and other supplies here if needed. If you are new to chicks let us know and we can help. We send everyone home with a “cheat sheet” on chick care so you can feel secure in your ability to care for your chicks.
